By accessing or using SnapCommit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SnapCommit is an AI-powered Git assistant that provides:

  • Natural language Git command interpretation
  • AI-generated commit messages
  • GitHub integration features
  • Progress tracking and statistics
  • Multi-repository management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Pricing & Subscription

4.1 Paid-Only Model

SnapCommit is a paid product with no free tier or trial period. You must subscribe to use the service.

4.2 Subscription Plans

We offer two subscription options:

  • Monthly: $9.99/month, billed monthly
  • Yearly: $100/year, billed annually (save 17%)

4.3 What's Included

All subscribers receive:

  • Unlimited AI commit messages
  • All Git & GitHub features
  • Natural language Git commands
  • Progress tracking & streaks
  • Cloud sync across devices
  • Multi-repo support
  • Priority support

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Abuse or circumvent usage limits
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or spam
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

SnapCommit and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

6.2 Your Code

You retain all rights to your source code and repositories. We do not claim any ownership over your code. Generated commit messages become part of your Git history and are yours to use.

7. Payment & Billing

7.1 Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions automatically renew monthly or yearly unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.

7.2 Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your billing period.

7.3 Failed Payments

If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription will be cancelled and you will lose access to the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9.2 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated commit messages are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all commits before they are made. We are not liable for any issues arising from AI-generated content.

9.3 Data Loss

While we implement security measures, we are not responsible for any data loss or corruption. You should maintain your own backups.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapCommit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapCommit from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
